Performance Marketing Specialist (Customer Success)

Remote - Portugal

Velocidi is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to join our Customer Success team and help our clients use audiences from our product to drive growth through paid marketing across social, display, and search. In this role, you’ll be working with clients and their agency partners to set up and monitor cross-channel campaigns, as well as work with internal teams to develop new audience strategies to drive sales and revenue for clients.

You’ll be at the forefront of performance marketing innovation, directing strategy and execution of audience development, and leveraging audiences to drive success. You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional team consisting of customer success, sales, product, and marketing. We are a small but growing company where you will have a direct impact on our clients’ success and ours.


  • Serve as a performance marketing subject matter expert internally and externally, helping to define processes for campaign set-up, QA, monitoring/maintenance, and reporting
  • Use capabilities provided by a customer data platform to develop new audience strategies and use cases
  • Guide clients and their agency partners on how to create audiences using a customer data platform and activate them on Facebook/Instagram, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other channels
  • QA audience and campaign set up on Facebook/Instagram, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other channels
  • Monitor ongoing campaign performance against a variety of KPIs (Revenue, ROI, ROAS, CAC, etc.) and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Advise clients and their agency partners on reporting
  • Demonstrate/communicate the value of Velocidi-driven audiences to clients and their agency partners

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, preferably working with/in an e-commerce environment
  • Expert in setting up and running paid media campaigns on Facebook/Instagram, Google (for Display and Search), and other advertising platforms
  • A passion for marketing and staying up to date on the industry, technologies, platforms, strategies, and changes as they roll out
  • Strong analytical ability and confident grasp of web analytics, A/B testing, and metrics-driven marketing
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple projects/clients, effectively manage your time, and creatively problem-solve
  • The ability to synthesize marketing strategies and campaign tasks into actionable processes and recommendations
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Fluent in English
